Tech giant Samsung is developing a smartphone with a rollable display and it could be launched in 2025, according to a report by The Elec.
According to the report, the size of the rollable screen on the phone is 12.4 inches, making it bigger than the most-talked Huawei Mate XT Ultimate’s 10.2-inch tri-fold display.
The phone will have an under-display camera, the report further states.
If this is true, Samsung’s rollable smartphone will be the first phone in the world with a rollable display, if no other company launches a phone with rollable display in 2025.
Five years ago, Samsung launched its first foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Fold 5G and tech giants like Apple have yet to launch a phone in that sector. Apple is still behind the Samsung when it comes to foldable phone section.
