Washington: Donald Trump has angered a lot of people, both with his election and his recent actions and people still can’t deal with him. However, while Indians may be dejected, a US woman has decided to take up the protest by wearing a sari in the recent march after Mr Trump completed 100 days as President.

According to a media report, Stacy Jacobs clearly stood out at the recent 100 days of resistance because she wore a sari at a protest rally. The US woman has worn the #protestsaree in the march against the ban on Muslims and several other issues. Ms Jacobs has been a fan of Indian saris for quite a while and fell in love with textiles when she came to Chennai in 2015.

She used the attire because it would help her stand out in the crowd and make her point while supporting South Asians at the same time too. She said it was also an attempt to support people who were racially attacked in the US and it looks like she is making a difference.
