Negative polls are fake news: Donald Trump

Washington: After recent polls suggested that President Donald Trump had one of the worst early approval ratings in US history, Mr Trump on Monday hit out saying “any negative polls are fake news”.

A CNN/ORC poll released on Friday had found that Mr Trump had the lowest approval rating of any new President, at 44 per cent. “Any negative polls are fake news, just like the CNN, ABC, NBC polls in the election. Sorry, people want border security and extreme vetting,” the President tweeted on  Monday. In a second tweet he continued his rant: “I call my own shots, largely based on an accumulation of data, and everyone knows it. Some FAKE NEWS media, in order to marginalize, lies!”
