Western Australia: The craze of catching Pokemon is quite unstoppable, as an Australian man on Wednesday was fined by the cops for playing Pokemon GO while driving a car.
He was fined $400 by police for playing the popular game while driving his young son to school, Daily Mail reported.
The Mundijong Police pulled over the car in Byford to enquire why he was using his phone behind the wheel.
The man admitted to police that he had been playing Pokemon GO with his son who was sitting in the Kia Rondo's front passenger seat at the time.
Despite paying fine to the police, the man also lost three demerit points. As per the report, the WA police last year had registered at least 26 cases of inattention crash.
