President Erdoğan criticised Israel for obstructing aid shipments and keeping vital supplies waiting in Egypt for months, hindering humanitarian support to Gaza. He reaffirmed that Türkiye has delivered over 84,000 tons of aid to the region and is prepared to send more once the ongoing restrictions are lifted. Erdoğan called for Israel to be internationally isolated until its aggression ends, condemning the lack of adequate response from Muslim nations, which he believes has exacerbated the crisis. Türkiye severed trade ties with Israel in May and joined South Africa's genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), accusing Israel of war crimes in Gaza.

In a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Erdoğan stressed the importance of unity among Muslim nations to counter Israeli actions against Palestine and Lebanon. He called for collective action to hold Israel accountable, urging Muslim countries to support South Africa’s case at the ICJ. At a summit in Riyadh, Erdoğan warned that Israel’s goal is not only to destroy Palestinian existence but to annex all Palestinian territories through its ongoing attacks.

Erdoğan’s strong remarks at the summit highlighted the failure of Western nations to halt Israel's military aggression, which has caused immense suffering in Gaza. He further urged Muslim countries to step up efforts, echoing Türkiye's firm stance in the international arena. Following his visit to Saudi Arabia, Erdoğan traveled to Azerbaijan to participate in the COP29 climate conference, underscoring Türkiye's commitment to addressing global challenges
