England: The Lancashire police have admitted ordering investigation into the incidents of UFO sightings and alien abductions reported by the locals in the last two years.

According to a report in The Sun, locals have called at least eight times in the last two years to inform them about incidents related to aliens. The calls were about a suspected alien abduction, a UFO landing, spaceship sightings, and a suspicious beam of light.

The police also said that the local people are very curious about potential alien objects and UFOs.

Andy Sierolawski from Todmorden Observatory in Lancashire said, “We get asked if we have ever seen anything all the time. Around 40 percent of the people who visit the centre ask us.”

The police said that the calls made to the control room were assessed and officers were sent to investigate the claims. In one strange incident in 1995, in Lancashire, 250 callers said that they had seen a suspicious object flying in the sky at a high speed.

Though no evidence of the existence of UFOs has been found, they believe that the sightings may be a suspicious movement. “With any call received into the control room, the operator assesses each and identifies any risk/threat/harm,” a police spokesman said.
