A man was electrocuted to death after his iPhone fell in the water while he was taking a bath. Coroner Dr Sean Cummings said that he would send a report to Apple to warn about the dangers after the death of Richard Bull, 32, the Guardian reported. “These seem like innocuous devices, but they can be as dangerous as a hairdryer in a bathroom. They should attach warnings,” he told the inquest, calling the death “accidental”.
Bull was found by his wife who thought he had been attacked because his burns were so severe. Bull is believed to have plugged the charger into an extension cord from the hallway and then rested it on his chest while using the phone, the Sun reported.
