A university law tutor was thrown off a flight in Heathrow, London, before it took off because she was so drunk she thought she was in Canada, according to media reports.

Meghna Kumar, 30, was on a British Airways aircraft on April 9 and had “downed vodkas”, according to the Daily Mail. About 20 minutes after she entered the flight she was arrested and escorted out after she refused to put on her seatbelt and abused a cabin crew member as the flight prepared to take off for Montreal. She reportedly started swearing, “I cannot f***ing believe you’re asking me to stand up”. The captain was so alarmed he turned the plane around on the runway.
