Videos capture panic, chaos as terror grips Brussels
One of the first videos that emerged on the social media was of people running away from the airport to save their lives.
Brussels: Scenes of panic, horror and sheer terror pervaded the international airport of Brussels as two huge explosions ripped through its departure hall on Tuesday morning. Eyewitnesses said it was a bloodbath, with several left dead and dozens seriously injured in the aftermath. Much of the chaos was captured live on camera.
One of the first videos that emerged on the social media was that of people running away from the airport, with their luggage in hands, to save their lives.
Another video captured moments right after the explosions inside the airport.

Airport staff soon took stock of the situation and evacuated people to safety. The airport's official Twitter handle warned people to stay away from its premises and announced that a massive evacuation was on.

The shock over news of the twin-blasts at the Brussels airport had barely subsided when another loud explosion was heard at the Maalbeek metro station and panic-stricken people were seen running out in the streets.

Video showed smoke coming out of the metro station and authorities soon announced that all metro trains were cancelled in the city.
