Suicide bomber caught on camera blowing himself up in a Paris restaurant

As the bomber blows up his vest, smoke can be seen rising as his upper body gets separated from his lower half.

Paris: A shocking CCTV footage has emerged online which captured the horrific moment a suicide bomber blew up his explosives belt in the middle of a restaurant in Paris, in a series of attacks that killed 129 people, according to a report in the Daily Mail.

The suicide bomber in the video, identified as Brahim Abdeslam, 31, was seen at Comptoir Voltaire on the evening of November 13.

He entered the restaurant after being dropped in a car and walked up to an empty table where he detonated his explosives belt.

The footage shows Abdeslam's body being split into two pieces while the shocked on-lookers escaped with minor injuries. As the bomber blows up his vest, smoke can be seen rising as his upper body gets separated from lower half.

Investigators could find only a piece of Abdeslam's finger to establish his identity as most of his body was shattered into pieces. Brahim Abdeslam was the brother of Europe’s most wanted man  - Salah Abdeslam, who was arrested in Brussels.

On the ill-fated night of November 13, seven suicide bombers ripped through several locations across Paris including a stadium and Bataclan theatre that killed 129. The attack was claimed by Islamic State group, followed by a number of arrests and raids across Europe.
