The United Kingdom's third richest man, Sir Jim Ratcliffe has said that London and other Britain's cities were not safe anymore.

The 71-year-old also revealed that he stopped wearing any watches in London as he fears being mugged.
The owner of Manchester United football club said that he saw a man stab someone to death on the CCTV outside his office in a bid to rob his Rolex watch. "He died in a pool of blood because somebody tried to take his Rolex and he resisted," he said to Sunday Times.
The billionaire felt that this had not happened in a single day and pointed out that the country was facing problems with prison space for the last ten years.
He also criticized Britain's political leaders and slammed their focus on five year election cycles. However, Ratcliffe expressed confidence in Prime Minister Keir Starmer and said "he'll do a very sensible job."
The Capital City had seen 116 murders in 2023-24 and also reported a surge in knife crime offences. Recent attacks by far right rioters on asylum seekers hotels in UK also sparked a huge debate.
