Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni clicked a selfie with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the G7 summit and it has gone viral on social media with #Melodi trending on the social media.
The picture, showing both the leaders smiling, was taken on the sidelines of the summit which is currently being held in Apulia in Italy.
PM Modi arrived in Italy on Friday to participate in the G7 summit at the invitation of Italy PM Meloni.
The selfie of the two leaders on the sidelines of the COP28 climate summit held in Dubai last year was widely shared on all the social media platforms.
The Italian PM shared the picture with the caption, "Good friends at COP28. #Melodi."

According to the Prime Minister's Office, the two leaders held a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the G7 Summit. They conversed augmenting partnership opportunities in defence development and production, along with increasing cooperation in the areas of clean energy, telecom and critical minerals.
PM Modi thanked Ms Meloni for the invitation to be a part of the G7 Summit.
Prime Minister Modi held bilateral meetings with world leaders which included French President Emmanuel Macron, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and also met other world leaders.
