Video captures Chinese man beating his wife, forcing her into car boot
After hitting the woman a number of times, the man finally managed to get the woman lying down in the car's boot and slammed the door.
Huanghua, China: In a terrifying incident, a man has been accused of brutally beating his wife and trying to stuff her in the boot of a car in front of many onlookers in China.
The entire incident, believed to have taken place at a gas station in China's Huanghua city, was captured on camera by an unidentified onlooker.
The video footage starts with a man forcefully trying to stuff his wife in the boot of a parked car, while attempting to close it. The woman can be seen resisting, but is instead thrashed by the man.

The man then throws a huge punch at the woman, while repeatedly slapping her as she tries to free herself from the clutches of the attacker.
After hitting the woman a number of times, the man finally managed to get the woman lying down in the car's boot and slammed the door on her hand. He then turns around and looks for his keys while shocked onlookers stand still.
The video was uploaded online and received a lot of criticism with one of the viewers saying, “If I saw a woman with her civil liberties being violated like this, I would have to intervene.”
