Islamabad: Pakistan on Friday claimed the Indian intelligence agency, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), was involved in the attack on the Chinese consulate in Karachi.
Sindh Additional Inspector General Police Ameer Shaikh said RAW sponsored the November attack on the Chinese consulate in Karachi.
Mr Shaikh said the attack was executed by members of the banned Balochistan Liberation Army with support from the Indian intelligence agency. “The attack was planned in Afghanistan and the mastermind, Aslam alia Achu, was later killed in Kandahar,” he said.
“The weapons were brought to Karachi on a train, and were hidden at a house in Baldia Town.”
