Hearing in Nawaz Sharif case adjourned till July 30
It's suitable that the judge who is hearing the cases from the very first day should continue with it, he added.
Islamabad: A Pakistani court on Wednesday adjourned hearing of Al-Azizia Steel Mills and Flagship Investments references against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif without any proceedings till July 30.
During the proceedings headed by Justice Moh-ammad Bashir, the notification pertaining to jail trial of Nawaz Sharif and his family was presented.
The judge told defence lawyer Khawaja Harris that he had written a letter to Islamabad High Court regarding transfer of cases against Sharifs to any other court.
He announced not to become part of any hearing until the decision over Sharif family’s petitions.
Meanwhile, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor told the court that Khawaja Harris had also approached Supreme Court (SC), but he was directed to appeal in an appropriate forum.

Responding to a question regarding jail trial, Khawaja Harris said that the he will record his stance in this regard after consulting his client.
