Anupam Kher is great human being, says Abhishek Agarwal

Tollywood producer Abhishek Agarwal has roped in B-town legendary actor Anupam Kher for his next film ‘India House’ and he is going to reprise the role of freedom fighter Shyamji Krishna Varma. “He is going to breathe life into this real-life and iconic character in our movie ‘India House' set during the pre-Independence era. No doubt, he is an actor par excellence", says Abhishek Agarwal, who also worked with Anupam Kher in two of his other Telugu films ‘Karthikeya 2’ and ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao. “Anupam ji is more than a family to me and he is a great human being,” adds Abhishek Agarwal, who convinced him to do the role of a knowledgeable professor in “Karthikeya 2, who explains the greatness of Lord Krishna. “I just requested him and he agreed to do even a small but significant one in “Karthikeya 2’, His mind-blowing performance received appreciation world over,” added Abhishek.

Later, he approached him to do another key role in his next Telugu production ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’. “This time, we could give Anupam ji a significant role that would suit his immense talent. He has put in a great performance and it will be one of the highlights of our pan-India film since we believe that the film has great scope to strike a chord with North Indian viewers” he adds.

Actually, Abhishek worked with Anupam in his maiden Hindi production “The Kashmir Files’ which shattered box office records by making over Rs 250 crores. “Anupam Kher’s excellent performance as Pushkar Nath will be etched in the minds of people forever,” he concludes.
