Bandi distributes 110 appointment letters at Rozgar Mela
Visakhapatnam: Visakhapatnam: Union minister of state for home affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar, distributed appointment letters to 110 new Central government employees at the Rozgar Mela held in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday. The event was part of a nationwide recruitment drive, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed 51,236 appointment letters across India via video conference.
The Union minister congratulated the newly appointed members and wished them success in their new roles. Speaking at the event, he highlighted that the Modi government has already provided employment to approximately eight lakh individuals out of 10 lakh Central government jobs since the Rozgar Mela initiative began in October 2022. "We are conducting recruitment and completing the examination process within the stipulated time frame," he stated, adding that the government is working promptly to fill vacancies across sectors to avoid operational disruptions.
The minister noted that the “double engine” governance in Andhra Pradesh offers accelerated development opportunities for the state. He urged everyone to set aside political differences and work together towards fulfilling the aspirations of the people. He also emphasised the importance of developing Andhra Pradesh as a tourism hub.
