Lexus rolls out special ES model priced at Rs 64.64 lakh
PUNE: Lexus, the luxury car brand of Japanese auto giant Toyota, has introduced a specially crafted Lexus ES model, called the ‘Crafted Collection 2023’ priced at Rs 64.64 lakh at pan India showroom for the festive season.
This limited-run special edition comes equipped with special upgrades and luxury lifestyle offerings such as the scuff plate illuminate, welcome logo, rear lamp chrome garnish, headrest pillow, trunk lid spoiler, and handcrafted leather enhancements.
The leather collection includes a backpack, a sleek Laptop bag in tan, a sophisticated Laptop sleeve, an overnight duffle bag and an elegant multi-box watch case to complement Lexus’ travel lifestyle desires.
The Lexus ES Crafted Collection is powered by a 2.5-litre petrol engine paired with a 240-volt electric unit. This system delivers a combined output of 214 bhp, with the engine alone producing a peak torque of 221 Nm of torque. The power is efficiently managed through an automatic electronic continuous variable transmission (E-CVT).
“As we gear up for the festive season, we are thrilled to introduce the meticulously crafted ES to our discerning guests in India,” said Naveen Soni, President at Lexus India.
Built on Lexus’ foundational pillars of omotenashi and craftsmanship, this crafted range will enable buyers to enhance their travel experiences and enjoy a suite of new luxury offerings, he boasted.
Being Lexus’ first ‘Made in India’ vehicle, this crafted range comes with self-charging hybrid electric technology, the company said.
In line with the festive spirit, Lexus is offering various financial incentives to potential buyers, including a special upgrade scheme with a 7-year funding option, a 6.99 per cent ROI scheme, and a 60 per cent assured buyback scheme.
The Lexus ES model was launched in the Indian market in 2017 and in 2020, the brand first unveiled its locally made ES 300h, making it the first made in India vehicle from Lexus.
