Maruti Nexa clocks 20 lakh sales milestone
PUNE: Maruti Suzuki, India’s biggest car maker, on Friday said it has achieved a 20 lakh cumulative car sales milestone in the fiercely competitive car market in the country through its premium platform called Nexa since 2015.
At present Nexa has over 440 state-of-the-art showrooms across 280+ cities. The company claimed that nearly 50 per cent of its customers are under 35 years of age, who buy their dream cars through Nexa.
Nexa retails a range of Maruti cars including the newly unveiled SUVs, the iconic Jimny and the sporty Fronx, both of which have garnered over 38,000 bookings till date.
“Nexa was conceptualized in 2015 with a philosophy of providing unique experiences, along with innovative and intelligent technology through a diverse product portfolio,” Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales at Maruti Suzuki India, said.
He claimed that every Nexa product is curated with the best of technology, design and features for customers’ delight, adding that the 2 million sales milestone is a testimony to its premium experience.
Srivastava said Nexa has contributed to more than 20 per cent of the total Maruti Suzuki sales and is growing.
