PUNE: To cash in on its popularity, Kia, the South Korean car maker, on Monday introduced the electric sunroof even in the Smartstream 1.2-litre HTK+ variant of the Sonet SUV priced at Rs 9.76 lakh at Delhi showroom.
Earlier, this feature was only restricted to the HTX and HTX+ variants.
The automaker has sold over 3.3 lakh units of the Sonet since its launch three years ago.
Besides an electric sunroof, the HTK+ variant also gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system paired with four speakers and two tweeters.
Features like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, automatic climate control, and auto headlamps are also available in this variant.
The Sonet HTK+ with sunroof is offered with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes 82 BHP and 115 Nm and is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Kia also offers an electric sunroof in the HTX and HTX+ variants. However, these are pricier than the HTK+ trim.
