Hyundai Venue vs Tata Nexon: variants comparison
Launched at Rs 6.5 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India), the Venue enters a hotly contested sub4m SUV segment dominated by the likes of the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. While we have already compared the specs and features of the Venue with its rivals, let’s see where it stands in terms of value for money, starting with the Tata Nexon.

However, while the Nexon comes with an AMT unit, the Venue gets a dual-clutch automatic transmission which is regarded as a more advanced tech as it is likely to shift gears at a quicker pace compared to an AMT.

Again, there’s nothing substantial that separates the Venue and the Nexon here. With Tata not offering body-coloured door handles and ORVMs on the Nexon XM, it would look more stripped out than the Venue. The Venue also gets a few more features, and that is why we’d suggest you to go for the Hyundai.

As a result, while the Venue has gotten more expensive, its feature list is still the same. The Nexon is our clear pick here. For a premium of just Rs 10,000, it gets a lot more features compared to the Venue including a touchscreen infotainment system and auto AC.
