Ultraviolette Introduces Universal Charging Interface for E2W Owners
Priced competitively at Rs 2,999, the UVLYNC would drive the adoption of electric mobility by making charging more convenient and accessible

Hyderabad: Electric vehicle and motorcycle manufacturer Ultraviolette has launched a Type 2 charging interface, enabling electric two-wheeler (E2W) owners to charge their vehicles at all AC car charging stations and AC Type 2 car chargers across India.
With this initiative, all E2W riders, and not only Ultraviolette F77 customers, can access the extensive charging network, including over 4,000 AC car charging stations and more than 1 lakh AC Type 2 car chargers across India, according to a company statement.
The introduction of this charging solution aims to enhance inter-city travel for Ultraviolette F77 users while addressing the broader challenge of accessible EV infrastructure. Recognising the need for a more inclusive charging ecosystem, the company has developed UVLYNC, a standardised interface designed to integrate seamlessly with existing car charging networks, the statement said.
"By providing a universal interface, this solution expands charging possibilities and brings greater confidence among the potential customers in embracing electric mobility. As more riders transition to EVs, the UVLYNC will not only simplify daily charging needs but also accelerate the development of an inclusive and robust electric ecosystem nationwide," said Niraj Rajmohan, co-founder and CTO of Ultraviolette.
Priced competitively at Rs 2,999, the UVLYNC would drive the adoption of electric mobility by making charging more convenient and accessible, the statement said.
Ultraviolette was founded in 2016 by Narayan Subramaniam and Niraj Rajmohan, and is at the forefront of electric vehicle platforms and battery technology, incorporating aviation-inspired engineering, the company said. It is backed by global investors including Lingotto (a subsidiary of EXOR NV), Qualcomm Ventures, Zoho Corporation, TVS Motors, and Speciale Invest.
