VXI launches its first India CoE in Hyd
Hyderabad: VXI Global Solutions, a customer experience management and business transformation services leader, launched its first India Centre of Excellence at the International Tech Park in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Sources said that the new centre spans 1,20,000 square feet and will accommodate over 1,000 employees by the end of this year.
IT minister K.T. Rama Rao said that Hyderabad, which is known for having a talented workforce, will contribute to the company’s growth.
The developments come after officials of VXI Global Solutions met Rama Rao in May during his US tour, announcing to set up a delivery centre in Hyderabad. Within three months of making the announcement, the firm, backed by Bain Capital Private Equity, opened its facility.
“Our investment in Hyderabad is a first step toward a long-term commitment to the country, as we establish VXI as a major contender and preferred employer for India-based contact centre and customer engagement solutions,” said Jared Morrison, chief operating officer of VXI Global Solutions.
“At VXI, we have always placed emphasis on the career development of our employees. We are already hiring. We plan for 1,000 by the end of the year,” said Subir Chakravarty, SVP country manager, VXI Global Solutions.
The company plans to increase its workforce to 10,000 in five years.
Founded in 1998, VXI has more than 42,000 employees at more than 40 locations in North America, Asia, Europe, and the Caribbean. It delivers multilingual support, software development, quality assurance, advisory, automation and process excellence.
