Burgerman opens two cafes in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: The Indian burger brand Burgerman, which has a predominant presence in South India, inaugurated two cafes in Hyderabad, one at Banjara Hills and the other at Madhapur. “We have chosen a franchise model for our expansion plans,” said Sunil Cherian, founder and chief executive officer.
It has plans to open 30 more stores in the next year in Telugu states and their franchisees are likely to invest Rs 15 crore on them. Each store will be 600 sq. ft to 1.700 sq, ft. In all, it plans to have 100-plus outlets in three years.
“We use fresh, healthy, natural, nutritious, and locally sourced ingredients. They are light on the stomach. We believe in slow cooking. We are the opposite of fast food,” Cherian said. It offers 25 varieties of burgers.
