Twitter website replaces bird logo with X
SAN FRANCISCO: Twitter launched its new logo Monday, ditching the blue bird on its website for an X as part of a wider rebranding.
The social media network's site now shows the company's new logo: a white X on a black background.
Twitter owner Elon Musk has also changed his profile picture on Twitter as the company goes for wholesale branding changes of the micro-blogging platform this week.
Earlier on Monday, Twitter CEO Lina Yaccarina wrote: “X is the future state of unlimited interactivity – centered in audio, video, messaging, payments/banking – creating a global marketplace for ideas, goods, services, and opportunities. Powered by AI, X will connect us all in ways we’re just beginning to imagine," she tweeted.
Musk also shared a post about the X branding on Monday.
