Aparna Enterprises forays into B2C business, plans to launch 20 outlets soon
Hyderabad: Constructions and building material player Aparna Enterprises on Tuesday, announced its foray into the B2C business with the launch of its first company owned outlet in Chennai.
The company plans to invest over Rs .10 crore in this financial year to launch 20 more stores across 5 states to display a wide array of products in the tile segment along with tiles, uPVC & aluminum doors & windows. For deeper penetration, the company will expand its reach through franchise model and third party multi-brand B2C outlets as well.
According to industry reports, India’s domestic consumption for tiles and uPVC doors & windows is growing at a CAGR of 8-10% Y-O-Y, while, aluminum windows & doors industry is growing at a CAGR of 5% backed by the accelerated growth in the real estate industry, and Government of India’s push for infrastructural development in the country.
Managing Director of Aparna Enterprises Limited, Ashwin Reddy, said, ‘For over 30 years, Aparna Enterprises has flourished in the building materials business in the B2B segment and we feel now it is the right time to expand into the B2C segment with the launch of our own showrooms.
“Our aim is to bring our best in class, modern range of solutions in the tile, uPVC & aluminum windows and doors category much closer to the customers. We hope that our company owned outlets would contribute to nearly 10% to our revenue in the next 5 years led by Vitero & Vester,” he added.
The focus markets for the company will be Kochi, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Jaipur, Odisha and Kolkata. They have been supplying tiles and windows & doors to leading real estate giants like Godrej, Prestige, Mahindra Life Space, L&T Construction, Shapoorji & Pallonji, Brigade, My Home, and NCC for many years and the company envision to translate this success in the B2C business as well.
