Welspun Group Chief Meets CM Revanth, Announces to Invest More in TS
HYDERABAD: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said that Welspun Group had expressed its readiness to invest more in the state. A company delegation led by Welspun group chairman B.K. Goenka met the CM at the Secretariat on Saturday.
The CM said that the government would pursue a new friendly policy for industrial development to invite investments. The CM assured Welspun that the government would provide it all kinds of support.
Goenka said that the company will invest Rs 250 crore in IT services launched in Chandanvelly Industrial Park. It was is ready to provide IT jobs to the youth of Vikarabad and Adilabad districts in order to develop and promote IT sector in Tier 2 and 3 cities.
Chief Secretary A. Santhi Kumari, CMO secretary V. Seshadri, IT secretary Jayesh Ranjan, CMO officials, Welspun Group head (corporate affairs) Chintan Thakar, Srisa Bhargava Movva and others were present.
