As industrialist Gautam Singhania of Raymond’s announced that he was splitting from his wife Nawaz Modi through a post on social media platform X, rumours that were doing the rounds over a month back have resurfaced — that the marriage was on the rocks and the billionaire industrialist’s wife was reportedly admitted in ICU Breach Candy hospital with injuries of physical abuse.
Nawaz, who is known for her fitness, has been looking frail and using a walking stick of late. She recently posted pictures of her celebrating her birthday on insta, where her friends were heard saying “we are there for you.” In another set of pictures, she was seen participating in a puja, with her in-laws, who Gautam Singhania had thrown out of the house and business.
And now, the latest videos on X of Nawaz Modi being banned from entering Gautam Singhania’s Diwali party adds credence to all that was speculated of late. Seen in the video, Nawaz is adamant at making a scene, telling the world what she is being put through.
Singhania has changed his settings to disallow comments on his divorce announcement. But in his post where he announced the separation, he does hint at the “gossip and rumours” about his marriage.
