Indigenous Chocolate Brand Set to Make Global Mark
HYDERABAD: Unleashing the true potential of the Indian cacao, the city-based chocolate brand, Manam Chocolate, looks to relish Hyderabadis with its best cacoa flavour.
The chocolate is produced using best of scientific interventions and proprietary technology to develop, draw and deliver the best possible flavour from cacao beans, which is the source of cocoa.
The Almond House group, which owns this brand, produces cocoa at its Cacao Fermentery, run by its arm Distinct Origins, at Tadikalapudi in West Godavari. This is the largest of its kind craft chocolate fermentery in India.
As per the Directorate of Cashew and Cacao Development, West Godavari is the largest cacao growing region in India.
In Hyderabad, Manam Chocolate will be sold through its outlet, Manam Chocolate Karkhana at Banjara Hills.
Their products range from 60 per cent dark chocolate tablets, sweetened with jaggery, to blueberries coated in caramelised white chocolate with toasted sesame.
