Addressing the media here, Varaprasad reiterated that the CM is committed to the development of Guntur. More than 70 urban health clinics have been set up and existing 32 clinics have been upgraded in Guntur. Road extension works on the Perecherla-Kondamodu road have been extended up to 49.91 km in both Guntur and Palnadu districts. Last week, Guntur zilla parishad also approved a budget of ₹1,154.47 crore for developmental works in the district.

Further, the YSRC MLC said, the state government has formulated a District Export Action Plan for boosting the export of the famous Guntur Sannam chilli to ₹4,661 crore by 2025.

Varaprasad reiterated that the Chief Minister has succeeded in converting Andhra Pradesh into an investment hub. In comparison, the growth rate during 2018–19 had been just 5.36 per cent, when Telugu Desam had been in power,” the MLC pointed out.

Varaprasad said recently, even the JSW Group chairman stated that AP has been the fastest-growing state during the past three years and attributed the growth to the dedication and commitment of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
