R1 RCM Expands Hyderabad Operations

The company said the expansion is part of its India growth strategy and will support backend healthcare revenue cycle operations, including accounts receivable follow-up and billing functions.

Hyderabad: R1 RCM, a healthcare revenue cycle management company, expanded its Hyderabad operations with the launch of a new office floor at NSL SEZ Arena in Uppal.

The company said the expansion is part of its India growth strategy and will support backend healthcare revenue cycle operations, including accounts receivable follow-up and billing functions.
The new facility has been designed as a scalable workplace supporting operations, technology, analytics and innovation teams serving global healthcare clients.
R1 RCM said it expects to continue growing its Hyderabad workforce in double digits through 2026 based on business requirements and expansion plans.
“Hyderabad has consistently demonstrated strong talent and leadership capability for R1,” said Abhijeet Pawar, EVP, global operations and India general manager, R1 RCM.
He said India remains a key part of the company’s global delivery and innovation model.
The company plans to hire both fresh graduates and experienced professionals over the next year while expanding internal training programmes focused on specialised RCM capabilities.
Swati Khandelwal, SVP – head human resources, R1 RCM India and Philippines, said Hyderabad has become an important talent hub supporting multiple business functions and operational teams.
R1 RCM said its India operations currently employ more than 18,000 people across Hyderabad, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Indore and Chennai.
