Baraat came early for Tollywood actor Chaitanya Akkineni who was seen arriving in a decked up car to a store opening. He was greeted with energetic baraati dance and drum beats, giving fans a glimpse of his upcoming wedding festivities.
The Tollywood Yuva Samrat, still basking in the glow of his engagement party, waved to the huge crowds gathered outside ace fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani’s Tasva store in Himayatnagar.
Chai said he loved Tarun's work and sense of fashion. Speaking about his fashion sense, the actor said he prefers minimalism with a touch of intricate details.
When asked if he had started the countdown to the wedding with this baraat, Chai replied, “You could say that,” without revealing the date of the wedding. While he said that the wedding date and venue was still being decided, he emphasized his commitment to traditional wedding rituals.
Without giving away if it would be a simple ceremony or a lavish wedding, Chaitanya said, “Wedding to me means sharing the moment with people who mean a lot to me while honouring culture and traditions.”
Talking about his upcoming film with Chandoo Mondeti, Chaitanya said, “Tandel is based on a true story and is one of the most challenging roles I have played till date. I can't wait to see the audience 's reaction.”
