VIJAYAWADA: EAPCET admissions convener Chadalavada Nagarani on Wednesday announced that the date for candidates to start selecting their options has been postponed to August 7.
The earlier date scheduled for beginning of choosing options had been Wednesday, August 2.
The EAPCET convener clarified that there will be no change in the schedule for registration, processing fee payment and certificate verification activities.
However, with the date of the option having been postponed, there will be corresponding changes in dates for changing options, seat allotment, reporting to institutions and commencement of classes.
Providing details, Nagarani explained that the registration process for options will start on August 7 and continue till August 12. Change of option can be made only on August 13. August 17 will be the date for allotting seats in colleges as per the rules of reservation.
Candidates who get seats will have to report between August 17 and August 21 at their respective colleges. Classes will also start on August 21, the admissions convener added.
