Kakinada: Principal secretary (Education) Praveen Prakash on Saturday inspected several schools in the agency area, including Zilla Parishad High School, Kasturba Girls School and Pandirimamidikota Mandal Parishad School in Maredumill mandal.
ITDA project officer Suraj Ganere and Rampachodavaram sub-collector Subham Bansal accompanied the senior official.
Praveen Prakash exhorted teachers to provide quality education to tribal students. The teachers must always be available to students. He asked teachers to insist on students wearing their uniform along with belt, shoes and tie.
The principal secretary asked the 7,000 teachers in Alluri Sitaramaraju district to work hard and provide education to students in a manner that they are able to compete with corporate school students.
