AP ready to set up forest university in collaboration with Auburn varsity: Botsa
Vijayawada: Minister for education Botsa Satyanarayana said that the Andhra Pradesh government was ready to set up a forest university in collaboration with Auburn university in Alabama in the US.
The minister was visiting Alabama and met the Auburn university officials in the US on Monday and held discussions with them on getting its collaboration for setting up a forest university in AP.
The minister explained to them as to how the AP government was according top priority for promotion of especially the higher education I as it was going to fill up nearly 2,600 vacant faculty members in the universities and also informed them about how the English was being taught to the students from school education level.
