HYDERABAD: The Bharti Institute of Public Policy (BIPP) at the Indian School of Business (ISB) in association with the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) on Friday said it had launched two online courses on the iGOT platform under the Mission Karmayogi initiative —Evidence in Public Policy and Insights from Data for Policy.
Hemang Jani, secretary, of CBC, Department of Personnel and Training, launched the courses along with Himansu Pandey, programme manager, in the presence of Prof. Ashwini Chhatre, executive director of BIPP.
The two online courses are authored by Prof. Chhatre and are aimed at strengthening the expertise of senior government functionaries in public policy. He said the courses intend to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of public policy to improve its outcomes for citizens.
Speaking at the launch, Secretary Jani said that the understanding of data and evidence was essential for policymakers and the two courses would be beneficial in that area.
