VIJAYAWADA: Secretary to the AP Board of Intermediate Education, Saurabh Gaur, has said the distribution of physical mark sheets is expected by October 10.
He said this in response to recent concerns about a likely delay in issuing mark sheets for the Intermediate Examination 2023. The state government has provided online and Digilocker facilities to download mark sheets, he said.
Saurabh Gaur said the re-verification of marks for the supplementary examination was successfully completed in July. Certificate printing and distribution is expected to be completed by October 7.
The Pass Certificates will be distributed to all junior colleges in the state by October 10.
Notably, digital copies of these certificates are available on Digilocker for several months.
Explaining the Online Marks Memo Download Facility, Saurabh said the students can conveniently access their mark memos by entering their hall ticket number on the Board of Intermediate Education website. This online facility is already widely used by candidates.
Certificates downloaded from the BIE AP website are universally recognized and accepted. Approximately 3.73 lakh candidates have utilized this feature to obtain their Marks Memos for admission purposes in colleges and institutions across the state and country, he said.
Gaur explained that AP Board of Intermediate Education has embraced digital enablement, making all student services accessible through Digilocker (for certificates and documents) and the JnanaBhumi Digital Platform (for services like name correction, parents' name correction, date of birth correction etc).
This digital approach aligns with the government's commitment to enhancing the ease of living for students. BIE AP has demonstrated remarkable progress in digitisation by pushing a total of 45.53 lakh certificates to DigiLocker for the period 2014-2023.
This includes Inter Pass Certificates, Migration Certificates, Equivalency Certificates, Eligibility Certificates, and more.
Students need not worry as they can download marksheets online and can obtain physical copies from October 10, he added.
