HYDERABAD: The TS Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has revised the TS Eamcet counselling schedule as the government provided 14,565 additional seats and the Intermediate Examination advanced supplementary results were declared on Friday.
The date for online filling of application forms for the first phase has been extended until July 8. The certificate verification for candidates who have booked their slots will be available on July 9; students can choose their course upon certificate verification before July 12. The final freezing of options will be done on July 12 and provisional allotment of seats will be displayed on or before July 16.
Candidates applying for admission to BE, BTech, BPharmacy or PharmD courses can check the notice on the TS Eamcet website tseamcet.nic.in They can pay tuition fees or self-report through the website from July 16 to July 22. The second round of counselling will be held from July 24 and the final round on August 4.
Of the total 14,565 additional seats that have been sanctioned by the state government, 6,930 are for computer courses. Such a decision was made after engineering colleges sought permission for seats in computer courses, stating that they will give back seats in core groups. While the state had 86,106 engineering seats, the additional seats now take the number to 1,00,671.
