VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh government has extended the medical reimbursement scheme from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024 for the benefit of government employees and pensioners.
State government issued an order on Wednesday to this effect.
Earlier, the medical reimbursement scheme for government employees and pensioners had been extended from August 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023.
As the validity has lapsed, the government issued another order extending the scheme up to March 31, 2024.
Employees and pensioners, who are availing healthcare under Employees Health Scheme, can also avail medical reimbursement during the extended period, the order stated.
