Telangana Schools are reopening today as per earlier schedule. All the schools in Hyderabad and other regions of the state have already shared the academic calendar with the parents of students clearly stating the date of school reopening as June 12.
However, a circular doing the rounds on whatsapp and other social media channels states that the TS government has extended summer holidays for schools in view of heavy rains and inimical weather conditions in the state. The circular is dated 11 June, 2023.
This is a classic case of a fake given that there are no rains in the state yet. Also, most schools reconfirmed that the schools were reopening on June 12 as per the schedule.
The fonts too appear to have been fudged to make it look darker, which raises doubts on the authenticity of this circular.
