Agriculture, pharmacy CET from May 15 to 23

ANANTAPUR: All sets of AP EAPCET (AP Engineering Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test) -2023 are scheduled to be held from May 15 to May 23 at all the district headquarters along with Hyderabad city.

JNTUA (Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University Anantapur) will be conducting AP EAPCET 2023. JNTUA is entrusted with the work of conducting AP EAPCET from May 15 to May 19 while the agriculture and pharmacy stream examination will be conducted on May 22 and May 23.

AP EAPCET-2023 chairman and JNTUA vice chancellor Prof. B. Ranga Janardhana along with AP EAPCET 2023 convener Dr Shoba Bindu briefed the media about the arrangements for the common entrance test for engineering, agriculture and pharmacy at JNTUA campus here on Saturday.

Janardhana said notification for the AP EAPCET was issued on March 10 and a total of 3,37,733 applications — 2,37,193 for engineering beside 99,557 applications from Bi.P.C students for different courses, including veterinary, agriculture and pharma courses were received. Meanwhile, 983 students have applied under both categories for the AP EAPCET-2023, the JNTUA vice-chancellor said.

He made it clear that candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall from 7.30 am for the FN session and 1.30 pm to 3 pm for the afternoon session for identification.

He added that candidates should follow the check-in procedure inside the examination hall that includes capturing biometric information. “Students are advised not to apply any external materials like mehendi, or ink on the hands”, he said.

The vice chancellor advised candidates to ensure that the details in the hall ticket with all details like birth, gender, category and stream should be correct. “In case of any discrepancy, bring it to the notice of the AP EAPCET helpline through email for necessary action”, he advised.

This is the second time that JNTUA will be conducting the APEAPCET.
