AP: Notification issued for PG medical, dental admissions under CA quota

VIJAYAWADA: Dr YSR University of Health Sciences has issued notification for admissions into postgraduate medical and dental degree and diploma courses in the state under the competent authority (CA) quota for the academic year 2023–24.

Application forms are available from 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 22 to 6:00 p.m. on July 31 at https://pgcq.ysruhs.com for PG medical seats and at https://mdscq.ysruhs.com for MDS seats in government and unaided private minority and non-minority medical and dental colleges affiliated to Dr YSR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, and Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences, Tirupati.

Candidates eligible under the competent authority quota should have secured the prescribed cut-off scores in NEET PG–2023 and MDS–2023.

For PG medical degree/diploma courses, the general category cut-off score is 291 and for SC / ST / BC-A / B / C / D / E, SC-PwBD / ST-PwBD; BC-A / B / C / D / E-PwBD, the cut-off score is 257. For UR-PwBD, it is 274.

For PG dental degree/diploma courses, the general category cut-off score is 272; for SC / ST / BC-A / B / C / D / E; SC-PwBD / ST-PwBD; BC-A / B / C / D / E-PwBD, the cut-off score is 238 and for UR-PwBD, it is 255.

For PG medical courses, candidates who are going to complete the internship by August 11, 2023, shall submit a certificate duly signed by the dean/principal in the prescribed proforma.

Candidates should register online and upload their original scanned documents on the website.

Candidates of other states are not eligible for the competent authority quota seats if they do not satisfy local status / non-local status as per G.O.P. No. 646, education department, dated July 10, 1979, of AP (Presidential Order).
