TS EAMCET schedule released
HYDERABAD: The TS Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) on Friday issued the schedule for the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test Eamcet-2023 which will be held in May. The exam will be conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU).
The notification will be issued on February 28 online registration would commence on March 3. The last date to apply without a late fee would be April 10. Students can edit their details between April 12 and 14.
Applications can also be submitted with a late fee of Rs 250, Rs 500, Rs 2,500 and Rs 5,000 up to April 15, 20, 25 and May 2. respectively. Students can download hall tickets from April 30.
Addressing a press conference at the JNTU-H, TSCHE Chairman Prof. R. Limbadri said 25 per cent Intermediate weightage for Eamcet would not be considered for this year.
The minimum Intermediate marks criterion — 45 per cent — has been reinstated, he said, adding that the entrance test will cover 70 per cent of the first year and 100 per cent of the second-year Intermediate syllabus.
Limbadri said BSc Nursing admissions would be done through Eamcet.
Eamcet for the engineering stream will be held on May 7, 8 and 9 and for the agriculture-pharma stream on May 10 and 11. Details are available at https://eamcet.tsche.ac.in.
