Telangana to implement 10 per cent EWS quota for paramedical courses

Hyderabad: The state government on Tuesday approved the implementation of 10 per cent reservation quota for economically weaker sections (EWS) in admissions to paramedical courses in state-run educational institutions. The decision, announced by the health, medical and family welfare department, aims to enhance access to higher education and career opportunities for students from disadvantaged economic backgrounds.

As per a statement, the quota will apply to Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Master of Physiotherapy (MPT), Master of Science in Nursing (MSc Nursing), and Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing (PBBSc Nursing) paramedical courses.
