New Delhi: In a recent video posted by PhysicsWallah (PW), Founder Alakh Pandey encouraged government school students to start studying using free YouTube lectures—even those offered by competitors. He said, “Unacademy karke ek jagah hai, aise hum log alag-alag hai lekin agar aap tak pohnchna hai, toh hum sab ek saath hai” ("There is a platform called Unacademy. While we may be different when it comes to reaching you, we are all united.”)

He further added, “Ek sarkari exam ki taiyari karvate hain, Career Will naam hai. Ek Vedantu jagah hai. Yeh sabhi YouTube par free mein bohot saara padha rahe hain. Bas main chahta hoon ki aap log padhai shuru karo” ("There’s another platform called Career Will, which prepares you for government exams, and another called Vedantu. All of these are teaching a lot for free on YouTube. I just want you to start studying.”). To reach a wider audience and make a deeper impact on society, Alakh Sir’s vision brings together multiple platforms, uniting them in the shared goal of providing quality education to students in a country as large as India.

Addressing the students, Alakh Pandey highlighted the benefits of online learning by sharing Niyanshi’s success story. He said: “Niyanshi aapke Sarohi gaon ki rehne wali hai. Bharat ka ek bahut bada exam hota hai Ganit ka Olympiad, jisme pure Bharat se sirf 900 bacche select hote hain. Un 900 bacchon me Niyanshi bhi select hui hai. Niyanshi khud batayegi kaise select hui.”("Niyanshi is from your Sarohi village. Niyanshi herself will explain how she achieved this."). To this, Niyanshi simply replied, “Online.” In a generous gesture, he provided free online study materials to all the students in the school on Niyanshi’s behalf and promised that next time, another student could also become a reason for such pride. Alakh sir announced, “Niyanshi ki taraf se iss school ke sabhi bacche jo class 9, 10, 11, 12 mein hain, unko jis exam ki taiyari karni hai, usko hum Physics Wallah ke sare batches free mein denge, wo bhi niyanshi ki taraf se.
