Aamir Khan rings in 51st birthday with leaner and fitter physique

Aamir Khan flew back from the US last evening, in time for his 51st birthday celebrations, flaunting a thinner, more toned physique.

Photo: Debasish Dey- Aamir took to his social networking handle to thank fans for all their wishes saying, \"Thank you so much guys for your love and good wishes. I'm really touched and overwhelmed. Thank you. Love, Aamir.\"
- Talking about the intolerance row last year, Aamir said, \"I feel majority of the audience knows me. My relationship with them has been of over 27 years. So people who question me are already biased against me. No matter what I do, they will question.\" He also added, \"Neither I, nor my wife Kiran, have any intention of leaving the country.\"
- Talking about his weight loss, Aamir said that he had spent the last 3 weeks simply sleeping, eating and working out for almost six hours a day. He also said that he now weighs 82 kilos, and has yet to lose 12 more kilos before he gets back to the 'Dangal' sets.
- Calling Varanasi \"extremely beautiful and historic\", Aamir said he can't wait to own a house there. \"I've been to Assi ghat. Varanasi is a beautiful and a historic place. So, If I get a home there, my mom's home there, that will give me the biggest happiness. Let's hope it happens,\" he said.

- Keeping up with tradition, Aamir organised a small cake cutting session with the media and fans at his residence. Aamir cut a large chocolate cake with fresh strawberries and distributed it to the few gathered at the party.
