Hyderabad: Tollywood actress Anjali, who plays an important role in the yet-to-be-released film, ‘Gangs of Godavari’, cleared the air surrounding Balakrishna's push on the stage which went viral and received brickbats.
“I want to thank Balakrishna Garu for gracing the Gangs of Godavari pre-release event with his presence. I want to make it clear that Balakrishna Garu and I have always maintained mutual respect and we have shared a great friendship for a long time. It was wonderful to share the stage with him again (sic)”, wrote Anjali on her Twitter page on May 30th.
The talented actress has worked with Balakrishna in ‘Dictator’ and says she has been maintaining a cordial relationship with the actor and expressed her happiness about the senior actor gracing the event. Well, that should put a full stop to some of the talks.
On the career front, Anjali has chosen to do female-centric movies like ‘Geetanjali Malli Vachindi’ and doing a dark role in ‘Gangs of Godavari’ to change her track. “I am bored doing the same kind of goody-goody roles,” she signs off.
