Bollywood star Shahid Kappor who is known for blockbusters like ‘Kabir Singh’ and ‘Farzi’ has reportedly agreed to join hands with leading Telugu producer Dil Raju. “The big ticket movie will begin soon since they have agreed upon a story idea and their respective teams are in touch. They have been in touch for quite some time,” says a source.
Shahid was impressed with Dil Raju's career graph. He has made both content and star-driven movies. “With ‘Game Changer’ starring Ram Charan and directed by Shankar to have big release in Hindi market, Dil Raju has been spending more time in Mumbai,” the source adds.,
Recently, Dil Raju joined hands with Tamil superstar Vijay and tasted big success with Tamil film ‘Varisu’. He is now moving to Bollywood and wants to establish his banner in a big way. “Dil Raju is looking to make more Hindi films since he also understands the Hindi market and has been watching hits and flops in North India, " the source adds.
Already, he made blockbusters with Telugu stars like Jr NTR(Brindavanam), Mahesh Babu (Maharshi), and Pawan Kalyan (Vakeel Saab), while his upcoming multilingual film ‘Game Changer’ with reigning star Ram Charan Tej has generated enough hype across India. “Dil Raju has the capability to judge a novel story and has a creative team to work on it and deliver a perfect mass entertainer,” he concludes.
