Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan will soon be visiting Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh to attend the Social Media Summit and Awards. Last year, Deepika Padukone made it to the event, as she had bagged an award. This year, Kareena Kapoor Khan is the recipient of the award. “There are many other top celebrities from the Hindi film industry and also from South India attending the function,” says a source in the know.
Propelled by the success of the summit last year, the organisers are looking to make it even more colourful this year. The event is being organised by VIBRI media, along with the Andhra Pradesh government on November 10.

“Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu wants to promote the new capital and tourism, so he has suggested that more cultural events be attended by top celebrities,” adds the source. This may be Kareena Kapoor Khan’s first trip to Amaravati.
