After Mawra Hocane, Meera and Sara Loren, the latest cross-border beauty making her way into Bollywood is Pakistani actress Saba Qamar. Saba will be seen in director Saket Chaudhary’s next, a rom-com titled Hindi Medium. Irrfan Khan plays her husband and the male lead in the film.
Saba is a famous Pakistani actress and has done several popular TV shows and telefilms. She debuted on the silver screen with a Pakistani film called Main Manto in 2015. Saket has earlier directed Pyaar Ke Side Effects and Shaadi Ke Side Effects. A source close to the film reveals, “Saba is flying to Mumbai next week from Pakistan. Saba and Irrfan had an interesting photo shoot for the film earlier this year and now the actress will start her workshop with Irrfan this month. The film is about a couple and their quirky journey, where the wife is the dominant one. Hindi Medium is slightly inspired by Irrfan Khan’s last year’s outing Piku.”
Back home, the actress is gearing up for a November release of her second Pakistani venture Lahore Se Aagey, while Irrfan will be seen in Madari that is scheduled for a July 15 release worldwide.
